





Hoof•er chronicles the life of Kaelyn Gray, a choreographer and tap dancer from greater Cincinnati. Although traditionally men have stepped into the spotlight of tap dancing, Kaelyn is driven to inspire her dance students to fall in love with tap, expressing themselves in their own unique way. Hoof•er was created for the 2014 International Documentary Challenge The film was created in 4 days and It had to work within the assigned genre and theme; Biography and Behind the Curtain. Hoof•er made it to the semi-finals but fell just short of the top 12 at slot 14. It received nominations for best cinematography, best soundtrack, best art genre, and best editing. Congratulations to the finalists. The film was shot on RED ONE MX with Zeiss Superspeeds. Editorial was done on Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
